The research-informed teaching (RIT) case studies were originally contributed as material to inform the book chapter 'Disciplinary Approaches to Research-Based Curriculum Design', Edwards, C. and McLinden, M.  in Disciplinary approaches to connecting the higher education curriculum Eds. Fung, D et al, UCL Press (due November 2017). They are reproduced here as submitted by the contributors and with minimal editing. They should be seen not primarily as examples of good practice (though many of them are) but as illustrations of the current understanding and practice of RIT in undergraduate higher education, mainly in the UK.
